Pro11 Posture-Correcting Heel Cups for Under/Over Pronation

Prevent and alleviate heel, ankle, shin, knee, hip and lower back pain with the Pro11 Posture-Correcting Heel Cups for Under/Over Pronation. While soft, thin and unobstructive, these gel heel cups are extremely effective at cushioning, supporting and protecting the heels.

Features and Benefits of the Posture-Correcting Heel Cups

  • Soft and thin heel cups
  • Suitable for treating and preventing injury
  • Reduce pressure and shock at the heels
  • Enhance stability at the heels
  • Correct over- and under-pronation
  • Promote good foot and ankle posture
  • Reduce foot, ankle, shin, knee, hip and lower back pain

Who Can Benefit from the Pro11 Posture-Correcting Heel Cups for Under/Over Pronation?

When intense pressure is felt in any area of the foot – particularly for prolonged periods of time - we tend to adopt bad foot posture in order to move our weight off this area. Unfortunately, in shifting our weight, we misalign the bones of the foot and ankle, which can result in ankle, knee, hip and lower back pain. The Posture-Correcting Heel Cups alleviate this problem by cushioning the heels to reduce pressure, therefore encouraging good foot posture.

In addition to reducing pressure at the heels, these soft inserts absorb shock to protect the heels against the impact of walking. This prevents pain, fatigue and injury at the heel. A pattern of strong rubber latex dots adds additional protection at the heel, making these cups suitable for both preventing and treating injury.

Correct Foot Posture

The Posture-Correcting Heel Cups provide support to correct over-pronation and supination (under-pronation). By doing so, they realign the bones of the feet and ankles, reducing the presence of pain in the shins, knees, hips and lower back caused by poor foot posture.

Sizing of the Pro11 Posture-Correcting Heel Cups

These inserts are available in the following two sizes:

  • UK Size 4 - 7
  • UK Size 8 - 12

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

Just what I needed!
24 July 2022  |  Jean

I've recently undergone two knee replacements. Beforehand, the bones had worn down so badly that I had gone bow-legged, and was walking on the outer edges of my feet. Imagine a turkey wishbone walking down the street and you'll get the idea. After recovery from surgery, I realised that my feet still wanted to turn on their sides, which was affecting my achilles tendons, alignment of the knees and even my lower back. The first time I stood up in these inserts there was a series of audible clicks, beginning in my feet, then the knees and finishing in the lower back. It was weird - but amazing. At present, I'm only wearing them for short periods, but they are making an enormous difference. In particular, the pain in my achilles tendon has disappeared and I'm walking with more confidence.

Response:

Hi Jean,

Thanks very much for leaving such a detailed review with us. We're really glad to hear you've finally stumbled on a product that works in mitigating your symptoms! You're right when you say that despite surgery, your feet and brain will want to revert back to engrained ways of doing things. It's great to hear however that your Heel Cups are preventing them from doing so.

We hope your rehabilitation continues and that you carry on reaping the rewards of orthotic correction.

Many thanks,

Seth at ShoeInsoles.co.uk
