Fitting the Powerkids Orthotics
The Powerkid Orthotics work well in a range of shoes, for best results, chose a shoe with closures such as Velcro or laces to keep the foot well positioned on the insole and fully benefit from its supportive features.Fitting the insole into your child's shoe couldn't be simpler:
- Insert the orthotics in the child’s shoe
- DO NOT remove the shoe’s existing insole
- It may be necessary to wear in a shoe a half size larger if any discomfort is felt in the toe area
- Apply the shoe, ensuring the heel is resting in the back of the orthotic
- Fasten closures. If necessary, wear a few hours a day until feet are accustomed to better support, then wear full time.
Maintaining the Powerkids Orthotics
- Spot clean with a mild detergent
- Do not immerse in water
- Air dry only
- Replace PowerKids insoles as needed depending on wear and child’s foot growth
