Who Can Benefit from the X-Line Insoles?

The X-Line insoles are an excellent choice for anyone needing rearfoot posting support. The insoles are easy to apply and customise due to having a flat bottom which allows for the insertion of wedges if required.

Stability Guaranteed

Stability and support is increased by the deep heel cup while the mid-foot saddle helps to improve mobility. This combination ensures the foot is not only kept in place, but that it has the necessary support it needs to absorb shock, impact and contact throughout the day.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Contains a pair of X-Line Insoles, a 4° and a 8° rearfoot post
  • Customisable for best support
  • Provides additional support and lift for the heel
  • Flat bottom of the heel makes customisation easy
  • Straightforward and easy to use
  • Low volume insoles suitable for a range of shoes
  • Deep heel cups for stability and comfort
  • Mid-foot saddle enhances biomechanical control
  • 1st ray Dell improves mobility

Shock Absorbent Pain Relief

X-Line Insoles are ideal for easing pain and strains caused by pressure and shock impact on the feet by reducing this stress on the ligaments. With either a 4° or 8° rearfoot posts available, the insoles can be customised to provide the additional support and lift that may be required.

Do These Insoles Have a Heel Posting?

Yes, these insoles feature a pair of 4° and 8° medial heel postings. This posting provide a slight tilt to the heel bone (or calcaneus) and rear foot, which helps to combat overpronation to give you a more comfortable gait.

What's the Benefit of a Heel Posting?

A heel posting helps tilt your foot to combat supination (foot rolling outwards) or pronation (foot rolling inwards). This can also help to flex your insole to allow it to provide a better contact with your sole, helping to prime your foot for a healthy push-off on your next step. This foot alignment has a number of benefits, including boosting stability, preventing rolled ankles and fending off toe calluses.

What's the Difference Between the X-Line Insoles and X-Line Extra Insoles?

These insoles are also available as the X-Line Orthotic Low-Volume Insoles. These insoles provide a similar level of support, but don't include the rearfoot posting.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

I was recommended these by a physiotherapist due to painful feet and being flat footed. I've only been wearing them a couple of days and I can feel the benefits already

As with many products, you have to complete self assembly. Element of guesswork in accurately positioning self sticking insole wedges.

Response:

Hi David,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review with us. We recommend visiting a podiatrist or similar healthcare professional when fitting these insoles, as they will be able to advise regarding the position of all the different wedges and attachments. This ensures that the unique shape of your feet and any relevant conditions are correctly taken into account when fitting the various different orthotic adjustment pieces.

We hope this information helps and that we hear from you again soon.

Many thanks,

Seth at ShoeInsoles.co.uk
