Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles

The Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles are a cost-effective, fully customisable foot orthotic. The device can be worn alone to provide general control or can be adapted by a clinician into a semi-bespoke device.

Slimflex Simple is highly recommended where speed of orthotic turnaround is of importance and chairside treatment is the chosen solution to biomechanical pathologies.

Please note, due to the material of these insoles they may appear to be slightly marked. This is normal and is not an issue or a sign of wear and tear.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Pair of Insoles

Sizing Information for Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles

Slimflex High Density Full Length Insoles are available in eight different sizes that should suit most people. To find your best size, simply match your shoe size to the table below.

To ensure a precise level of fit, we recommend removing the existing insole from your shoes and measuring the length and width at the longest and widest point as shown in the image below. Match these measurements to the dimensions listed below in order to find the pair that will best fit your shoes.

What Are the Slimflex High Density Insoles For?

The Slimflex Simple Insoles are designed to reduce pain associated with a variety of conditions, particularly those found towards the front of the foot. These conditions include:

Key Features of the Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles

  • 1st met cut out – this provides a raised mechanism, reducing the pressure on the first Metatarsophalangeal Joint (MPJ) and easing tension in the plantar fascia area.
  • Metatarsal raise - supports the metatarsal area and redistributes weight away from the ball of the foot.
  • Deep heel cup - supporting the heel reduces pressure by redistributing the body’s weight over a greater surface area on the sole of the foot, while stabilising the foot to provide greater control and support.
  • Medial flange - increases control of the medial aspect of the rearfoot. This provides correction, stabilisation and gait training by increasing arch support.
  • Medial arch support and lateral control - improving misalignment of the foot. This aids in reducing pronation and improving sagittal plane control.

Durable and Customisable

The high density EVA material the Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles are made of ensures that the orthotic won’t flatten down, and is therefore more durable for heavier patients or harder wearing patients (those with a higher Supination resistance).

Due to the level of customisation that is achievable with the Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles, the treatment options with this device are endless. Slimflex Simple High Density Full Length Insoles offer effective and speedy treatment to biomechanical pathologies.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

A good quality but not as stiff as expected and the raised arch support was badly positioned and sat under my heel. Had to to flatten it with a hammer to make it comfortable.

Swift delivery, comfortable, but would be better if arch heel slightly further forward in shoe by more at the back of the insole.

These insoles make all the difference in keeping the arches of my feet pushed up into place and thereby assist in preventing the excruciating pain of a bursa. I have insoles in all my shoes.

Bought these to extend the life of a favourite pair of shoes with the added challenge that I have big feet (UK 14.5). The site was great being to filter and find what I wanted quickly. My order arrived quickly and was exactly as ordered and the insoles do the job I wanted really well. I will definitely be back for my next pair of insoles.
