How Do I Use My Therm-IC 1400 Socks?

Please follow the instructions below to ensure your Therm-IC Socks are set up correctly:

1. Begin charging your S-Pack batteries via USB connection
2. Once they are charged, the LED light will switch back to green.
3. Put your socks on and push the freshly charged S-Pack battery into the snap fastener until they lock into place
4. Adjust power/heat to your desired level using the Therm-IC Bluetooth application

The Therm-IC Powersock Uni Heat socks are ideal for anyone looking to keep their feet as warm as possible when the weather gets colder. Providing direct warmth to feet, the socks prevent any part of the feet from getting cold by providing an even level of warmth.

The socks are also great for anyone looking to stave off a Raynaud's disease attack in their feet by ensuring they're always protected against sudden temperature change. A reinforced shin, ankle and instep also makes the socks ideal for skiing or other cold weather activities.

Heat Transfer System

To ensure the heat the Powersocks provide is distributed evenly across your feet, the socks utilise a high-tech heat transfer system. This helps to ensure even circulation of heat across feet, preventing certain areas of the foot from being colder than others. There are even three different heat settings to help you get the warmth you want. Xitaint fibre is used throughout the sock, which works to keep feet warm for longer.

What's the Difference Between These Uni Heated Socks and the Multi Heated Socks?

These Uni Heated Socks feature a single heat pad under the toes, whereas the Multi Heated Socks feature a heating element that wraps over the top of the toes to provide more heat coverage. In addition, the Multi Heated Socks feature micro channels to help wick away moisture, keeping the foot drier and, ultimately, warmer.

S-Pack 1400 Bluetooth-Enabled Battery

The sock set includes a Therm-IC S-Pack 1400 Bluetooth-enabled battery to power the Uni Heat socks. Providing warmth to feet for up to 16 hours, the battery is ideal for almost any use. A USB charger is included, making it incredibly easy to charge the battery when not in use.

The Bluetooth connectivity in the battery enables you to control the socks using your smartphone. Available for iOS and Android, the app provides you with everything you need for full control of the socks, making it easy to adjust the heat level while on the move.

Can the S-Pack 1400B Battery Be Operated Manually?

Yes, the heat level of your socks can be adjusted manually regardless of Bluetooth functionality. To do this, simply hold the button until it goes from a fast "blinking" then click through the settings.

The LED light on the battery pack will indicate which heat setting you are currently using.

• Low Setting: LED is single flashing slowly
• Medium Setting: LED is double flashing
• High Setting: LED is solid

An anatomical design enables the Uni Heat socks to provide a perfect fit for any feet, helping to improve both the comfort the socks provide as well as the heat. What's more, the heating elements are imperceptible, providing you with a comfortable and irritation-free fit.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
4. Carefully cut along the traced line
5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
