Podotech Thermoshell Insoles
The Podotech Thermoshell Insoles are designed to be adapted and customised to suit the user's foot shape. It can be used as both an insole base or be adjusted to a suitable shape depending on your requirements.
Who can benefit from the Thermoshell Insoles?
Anyone can benefit from the Thermoshell Insoles. This is because the insoles come as a blank canvas. Sometimes, this is enough to work as the base for the insoles and provide the support that the patient may need. But if not, the insoles can be moulded using heat. This means that there is no need for a cast or for the mould to be sent away to be made.
This saves time, effort and money while still providing insoles that have a custom made fit to provide the right level of support for the patient.
Features of the Thermoshell Insoles
The Podotech Thermoshell Insoles are made from a resilient nylon material. Compared to the polypropylene used for a lot of insoles, this is at least five times stronger and adapts well to being heated. This means that the insoles can be moulded time and time again if adjustments are required.
The insoles are available pre-cut to size, but grinding and cutting is simple thanks to the material. While it is durable, it is designed to be adjusted and modified. Once the size is right, the insoles can then be moulded to an appropriate shape.
It is easy to adjust the thermoshell insoles with the correct type of postings if required. Any type of posting can be fastened onto the insoles through the use of an adhesive. Some components even come with an adhesive backing to make this easier.
The insole does not need to be customised if not required. Instead, it can be used as a base for a regular insole. All that needs to be done is for a cover lining to be applied in the desired material such as Poron or Eva.
The Thermoshell Insoles can be moulded through using the Thermoshell Hoptop and Thermoshell Pillow.
