Podotech Stars Regulus Insoles

The trouble with wearing an insole is making sure it stays in the right part of your shoes once it has been inserted. The Podotech Stars Regulus Insoles are designed with this in mind, having a suede cover to ensure the insoles stay in place once they are in your shoe.

Who Can Benefit from Podotech Stars Regulus Insoles?

The Regulus Insoles are suitable for a number of different conditions due to the way they can be customised. The bottom part of the shell is exposed to allow different postings to be used with the insole. This means that it can be adjusted to suit the needs of the user, providing the required support that a customised-orthotic would.

The cover is leatherette, meaning it can be wiped clean for hygiene purposes. This ensures there is no lingering smells or bacteria left in the shoe once the insole has been used. This keeps it fresh and ready to use. This leather finish ensure a premium feel to the insole to provide comfort and support for the user.

The insole remains in place once it has been placed in the shoe. This is due to the suede base to the insole, helping it to grip the base of the shoe in order to maintain its position.

Features of the Regulus Insoles

The Regulus Insoles is made from a thermo-mouldable nylon shell. This makes the insoles adjustable, allowing the user to customise it the way they would a fully customisable othortic. The exposed bottom shell also increases this adaptability because it enables different postings to be used with the insole without causing problems to insert.

The heel cup and 4-degree rearfoot control helps to provide additional support and comfort for the insole. It helps to keep the foot in position and provide support where it is needed the most. The low profile of the shoe insole means it will fit discreetly into any type of shoe.

The material the insoles are made from makes it ideal for everyday use due to the ease it can be cleaned and the way it remains in position once inserted in the shoe.

Regulus Insoles are available in a number of different sizes. If you are on the border of a size, it is recommended you chose the size above for comfort purposes.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
