Aching arches? What a nuisance! Most people never give a second thought to their arches until they start to hurt, but spare a second to think beyond your feet and consider what an arch is, in a building for example. Sure theyíre pretty, but theyíre there for a purpose, too! Arches bear weight and your feet are no different, taking your body weight almost constantly throughout the day, really itís a miracle that our feet arenít always aching, so the least you can do for your hardworking arches is make sure theyíre supported!

Because they are such an important part of how your body works, itís important that you get to know them as well as possible.

Arch strain is a general term for pain or inflammation in the arch of the foot. This makes the arch of the foot tender and difficult to walk on, which can lead to a reduction in mobility. Arch strain itself is not a condition, and is usually a sign of a deeper condition.
