Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles

The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles are unique orthotics that are a revelation for sufferers of diabetes and have been professionally designed by the Vasyli think tank team. Where conventional footwear and insole technology fails to address the key problem areas for the diabetic foot, the Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles does so effectively.

The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles addresses key problems such as: shearing forces, friction and pressure. Utilising patented Glidesoft technology, the unique combination of construction and high quality materials has been scientifically shown to reduce shear pressure in the forefoot area by 50% and dramatically reduce the onset of plantar ulcers when compared to conventional diabetic insoles.

How Do The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles Work?

By using a unique design with Glidesoft technology, the dorsal surface of the insole moves with the plantar surface of the foot, achieved by a clever design. Five layers of materials are sewn together in such a way as to allow the top layer to slide on top of the lower layers.

The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles are thickly constructed orthotics made from five layers of material:

  1. The top layer is 'Outlast' material, a constant temperature material cover
  2. 'Plastazote' layer for 100% plantar surface contact
  3. Shock absorbing layer
  4. Teflon layer
  5. The bottom layer is the 'eva base' heat mouldable material

The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles have also been clinically proven to assist in the prevention of plantar ulceration by addressing the shear forces in the foot as described. Plantar pressure reduction is also addressed utilising 'Plastazote' to provide a soft, self moulding full plantar contact environment for the high risk diabetic foot.

The 'Outlast' material helps ensure an even distribution of temperature across the foot helping to eliminate hot spots.

  • The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles can be heat moulded using a heat gun
  • The Vasyli Armstrong Diabetic Orthotic Insoles should be used in conjunction with correct diabetic footwear and regular medical check ups.

I have problems with my feet i.e. toes amputated after many years of wearing these insoles supplied by the national health service and now no longer as they are deemed too expensive I still need them as they are to me and my feet the best.

I decided to try these based on research and am finding them harder wearing and more comfortable than the alternatives.
Still early days but they are excellent to date and no visible stress to my feet.
