Rehband Pronation and Supination Foot Wedges

Over-pronation or supination of the foot causes overuse type injuries, such as arch and heel pain, ankle sprains and Achilles tendinitis. If your foot rolls inwards or outwards excessively, your body alignment and weight distribution becomes compromised. This can lead to a range of problems and is particularly damaging if you are a runner.

Excess pronation and supination can cause bigger problems if left untreated, which is why taking steps to prevent it is so important. The Rehband Pronation and Supination Foot Wedges provide an easy way for you to do so.

Made from shock absorbing material, the wedges support the outer or inner edge of the foot to compensate for pronation or supination. This helps maximise your overall comfort and support, especially for those who are athletic.

The foot wedge are held in place by their naturally tacky surface which keeps the wedges in the correct position in your shoe.

Who Can Benefit from Pronation and Supination Foot Wedges?

Both Pronation and Supination can lead to a number of other conditions, so preventing this unwanted movement can be ideal for avoiding further foot conditions from developing. Some of the conditions associated with pronation and supination include:

  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Achilles Tendinitis
  • Heel Pain
  • Ankle Pain
  • Metatarsal Pain (metatarsalgia)
  • Shin Splints

Made from shock absorbing material, the Rehband Pronation and Supination Wedges are suitable for all people, from runners looking to avoid injuries to nurses looking for greater comfort when working a long shift.

What is Pronation and Supination?

Pronation refers to the inward roll of the foot during normal motion, whilst supination is the opposite of this, describing the outward roll of the foot.

Both of these are natural human movements, however it is excessive pronation or supination that can lead to problems. Over-pronation causes your weight to be distributed unevenly, whilst over-supination reduces the body's natural shock absorbing capability.

These items were a gift for my wife due to supination. She loves the product and they have helped her with not only day to day activities, but with her running/gym activities.

Thety work every time for me!
Saturday, 1 September 2018  |  Steve

Having been told that supination is the likely cause of my long-aching knee I tried these insoles. I noticed the difference within a week and was pain free within 2 to 3 weeks. I no longer suffer unless I go a while without the insoles.

I have a set in each of the 3 pairs of shoes I wear regularly and the first thing I do when I buy new shoes is move them from my old pair or order another set of insoles - that arrive within a day or two by courier.

Supination help

They do what they say and fit under Ironman thins in my shoes. Some MCL stretching pain, so they must be working. Delivery delay well explained by vendor.

Exactly what my physio suggested.
Sunday, 29 July 2018  |  Sarah

A nice simple solution which is easily moved from shoe to shoe. Being basically a half-insole means I don't have to wear anything in the other shoe and upset my normal pronation on that side, which is great.
Well fast to arrive, and hassle-free.

Could be better choices
Thursday, 12 April 2018  |  Graham

I've bought these for a Left Foot Supination before, they're very good and have made a big difference to a knee problem I have that's aggravated by the Foot Supination.

My only gripe is that you have to buy a pair. My right foot is normal. So I use the right foot insert upside down and cover with a thin standard insole, not ideal, but saves me buying two pairs and throwing the right foot inserts away!
