Formthotics Supportive Medium Density Black Insoles

The Formthotics Supportive Medium Density Black Insoles give a medium to moderate amount of arch support and rigidity, the black insoles are not quite as hard as the blue firm density insoles and not as soft as the red soft density insoles. Designed to support natural shape of feet, the Formthotics Supportive Medium Density Black Insoles provide good functional support and stabilisation of the foot and lower limbs.

Features of the Formthotics Supportive Medium Density Black Insoles

The Formthotics Supportive Medium Density Black Insoles are especially manufactured to provide support and cushioning to improve natural gait and help support over pronation. These insoles retain their new shape even after intense use, making then durable and cost effective. The Supportive Medium Density Black Insoles provides long term comfort and reduces fatigue by evenly supporting the whole foot and redistributing weight and pressure.

The insoles utilise Formax Foam, created from a range of high grade proprietary thermo-formable polyolefin closed cell foams made specially for Formthotics. The main foam is proprietary polyethylene foam, which is firmer and more resistant to heat and will hold a moulded shape better and more accurately than EVA. It is non-porous, flexible, lightweight, supportive and resistant to fungi and mould whilst also being hyper-allergenic.

Shock Stop foam is a totally unique and revolutionary hybrid EVA polymer foam. This foam has maximum shock absorption and cushioning, reducing impact on muscles, joints and tendons.

Formthotics can be thermoformed to the plantar surface of the foot (or on a positive cast) at temperatures and pressures that can be utilised in the therapists’ office. This is due to the unique material that they are made of and the milling (vs. compression) method used in their manufacture.
Insoles can also have wedges and inserts attached to further customise the insoles. Customisation must be carried out by a foot care professional.
