Features of the Formthotics Soft Density Burgundy Insoles
These Formthotics Insoles are designed to support the natural shape of feet, providing good functional support and stabilisation of the foot and lower limbs. The Formthotics Soft Density Burgundy Insoles are also especially manufactured to retain their new shape, even after intense use.
The main foam of the insoles is a proprietary polyethylene foam which is firmer and more resistant to heat and will hold a moulded shape better than EVA. it is non-porous, flexible, lightweight, supportive and resistant to fungi and mould whilst also being hyper-allergenic. Shock Stop foam is also utilised. A totally unique and revolutionary hybrid EVA polymer foam, it features maximum shock absorption and cushioning, reducing impact on muscles, joints and tendons.
Formthotics provide the 3 degrees of customisation required to meet the definition of foot orthoses. These insoles can be thermoformed to the plantar surface of the foot (or on a positive cast) at temperatures and pressures that can be utilised in the therapists’ office. This is due to the unique material that they are made of and the milling (vs. compression) method used in their manufacture. Wedges and lifts can also be added if necessary, to add further customisation. This customisation must be carried out by a foot care professional.
