So What Sports Do Enertor Insoles Suit?

Instead of targeting a single application, Enertor believe combatting conditions is the way to achieve long-lasting comfort. Because of these, there in no real limit to where you can use your Shock Absorbing Soles. Please view the list below to get an idea of just how versatile they are:

What Does "Full Insole" Mean?

Full insole simply means an insole covers the entire length of your foot. Some insoles are graduated in size, covering the heel only, half or 3/4 of the foot, whereas a full insole runs the entire length of your shoe.

Who Can Benefit from Enertor Performance Full Length Insoles?

The Full Length Shock Reducing Insoles are premier inserts for sports, hiking or any other activity. Providing a perfect fit in trainers and boots, the insoles are ideal for a wide range of people. The design reduces pronation, provides excellent control and helps to stabilise your feet.

Indications for these insoles include the following:

Why Is Shock Absorption Important?

Because your feet are constantly in contact with the ground, it's vital that the impact and shock generated when slamming your feet into the ground when playing sport is dissipated somewhere. If it isn't, your feet, shins, legs, hips and back are going to seriously suffer.

What Do Enertor Do About Shock?

D3O Shock Absorption is a revolutionary shock-absorbing material system that allows molecules to flow freely as you move. They lock on when an impact is detected in order to dissipate any force that is sent through the rest of the material.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

Too thick
Tuesday, 5 January 2021  |  Peter

On the plus side the insoles seem well-constructed and flexible. However, they are too thick and I cannot use them in shoes even one size larger than my feet.

Did the job
Tuesday, 5 January 2021  |  Roger

Had plantar fascia a few years ago and was given these free by the NHS doctor after a steroid injection. Since then the condition has never returned. Not sure if it's totally down to these insoles but it's not something I'm going to take a chance on. Quite expensive as I have for different types of footwear, running, walking, daily and work boots. Its sad they don't do 1/2 sizes. I replace them each year.
Not sure whats going on with the size 3 surplus atm, lol!

Great shock absorbing insoles
Thursday, 15 October 2020  |  Aileen

This is the second pair of these insoles I have purchased. They have really made a difference to my aching knees and ankles. (The original set of insoles are still going strong, so I would say that they are well worth the money. )
Transaction was easy and delivery was speedy, so great service too.

No more shin splints!
Monday, 13 July 2020  |  Kate

I bought these because I wasn't able to run on concrete due to agonising shin splints from the shock. I have absolutely no issues now and can run harder, faster, and longer with ease. Super comfortable - i love them.

Flat foot Plantar Sufferer finds miracle insoles
Friday, 3 July 2020  |  Chris

Title pretty much covers it. These are my 15th different insoles and are by far the most effective. I now have four pairs and rotate them between my different shoes. I use them for Nordic Walking, Hiking, gardening, fishing, walking to the shops, standing in socially distanced queues... not been dancing in them yet but will do. The ones with the additional heel support are better than the plain flat ones, IMHO.... worth the extra expenditure. Happy feet
