Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles are available in four different sizes that should suit most adults. To find your best size, simply match your shoe size to the table below.

To ensure a precise level of fit, we recommend removing the existing insole from your shoes and measuring the length and width at the longest and widest point as shown in the image below. Match these measurements to the dimensions listed below in order to find the pair that will best fit your shoes.

How Thick are Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles?

When it comes to shock-absorbing insoles, thickness matters. Sof Sole developed the Airr Orthotic with two cushioning pads at the heel and forefoot to reduce impact and strain during the day. Can I Trim Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles?

If you find that your Airr Orthotic insoles are a bit too big for you, then they can be trimmed down a bit at the toes. It is advised that you use your shoe's existing insole to trace around for an optimal fit.

This makes them an ideal choice for anybody who walks a lot or stands on their feet all day, helping to reduce pain and discomfort in the heel, arch, and ball of foot. With a reinforced stability plate in the arch or heel, they are also ideal if you have low to neutral arches.

What Types of Footwear Are Suitable for the Airr Orthotic Insoles?

Due to the slim and contoured design of the Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles, they are ideal for most shoes and footwear types. This means you can wear them as work boot insoles, casual shoe insoles, trainer insoles, and even formal footwear insoles.

Do I Need to Remove My Existing Insoles? 

Whether or not you choose to remove your existing insoles is largely down to your own personal preference. The Airr Orthotic insoles should fit snugly into your footwear, and you may find that leaving your existing insoles in place helps with this. However, if there is little room to manoeuvre, then you may find that removing your existing insoles before inserting the Airr Orthotic insoles helps to improve comfort.

How Do I Clean My Airr Orthotic Insoles?

Once they have been removed from your footwear, you can wash your Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles with hand soap or gentle detergent. They can then be air dried before reinserting them into your shoes.

This product is normally dispatched by Royal Mail. The normal delivery expectation of this service is 1 to 3 working days.

When ordering before 2.00pm (Monday to Friday), your item will usually be dispatched the same working day.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
4. Carefully cut along the traced line
5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
